1st C2TN WORKSHOP
15 oral presentations, 37 posters and 1 tribute to the recently retired Coordinator Researcher Isabel Santos: this is the recapped output of the first annual C2TN workshop held on the 6th of December.
One day brimming with excellent science, unique knowledge and inspiring innovation. In this event, the most recent and cutting edge work developed by members and collaborators of the Centre for Nuclear Sciences and Technologies was presented in the form of oral and poster presentations. It was given focus to all areas of research performed in C2TN: Radiopharmaceutical sciences & Health Physics, Advanced Materials and Environment & Cultural Heritage.
The workshop served as a platform to share knowledge, disseminate activities and reveal new findings. Moreover, the C2TN workshop presented itself as an opportunity to stimulate original ideas and solutions and to promote a discussion about the future: which strategies will contribute to confirm C2TN as a worldwide reference in Nuclear Sciences and Technologies and in which direction should its research be developed to produced further positive impact in society, industry and state policies.
